RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
SUPERVISOR THESIS
Expertise is demonstrated in Civil Engineering, with a primary focus on Highway Materials and Transportation Engineering. Research is concentrated in three distinct fields: Firstly, the development and characterization of Advanced Asphalt Rheology and Performance are the focus, where asphalt binders and mixtures are modified using both polymers (e.g., SBS) and nanomaterials (e.g., nano-silica, nano-HDPE) to enhance resistance to permanent deformation (rutting) and moisture damage. Secondly, cont
Scholarly impact is documented across major academic databases. According to Google Scholar, 56 research papers have been published with approximately 500 total citations and an h-index of 13. Complementary data from Scopus indicates that 39 papers have been published, over 200 total citations have been received, and an h-index of 8 is maintained.
A strong commitment to mentoring graduate students is also evidenced by the recent supervision record between 2022 and 2025. During this time, 9 Ph.D. Dissertations and 2 Master's Theses were supervised, resulting in 11 successfully supervised students within the specialized research domain.
